Halter Sizing

This is a great basic halter!

This halter is hand-tied from your choice of soft black 1/4" doublebraided polyester yacht rope or firm black 1/4" polyester halter cord. All knots are properly tied using the double overhand knot and the Fiador knot. This halter features two extra knots in the noseband. Rope halters are a popular training aid. Some people feel that a rope halter provides clearer communication with the horse compared to a leather or web halter, so they learn to give to pressure much faster.

Measure your horse around the circumference of the nose below the point of the cheeks. (red)

Small	ponies/yearlings	up to 18" nose
Medium	arab/cob	up to 20" nose
Average	most horses	up to 24" nose
Large	warmbloods	up to 26" nose
XL	drafts	up to 28" nose

Custom Halter Measurements

If you need a custom halter these are the measurements I need.

1. Measure from point of cheek to point of cheek. (turquiose)
2. Measure around the circumference of the nose. (red)
3. Measure from point of cheek to back of jaw. (green)
4. Measure around the collar. (blue)
