The Indian Bosal is a solution to the many problems that bits may cause. It is a simple design, consisting only of yacht rope just like the rope halters. The Indian Bosal may be attached to any type headstall, either Western or English in style. Much like the rope halter, the bosal works through pressure. The ropes criss-cross beneath the horses jaw and your direct rein tells them the direction to go.

I have also woven paracord (rose pink base with black trim is pictured) on this halter around the noseband for a softer feel for the horse and a pleasing look to us. You can also request to have a spiral weaved noseband instead.

Rope Bosal Sizing:
Small - Pony/Cob/Arab
Medium - Most Horses
Large - Warmblood/Draft

  1. Buyer Beware: ITS AMAZING!

This is awsome. My horse (patches) is 27, and he is what most people would call "crazy" I bought this because I knew the real Patches. He was great in this. When I first put it on he lowerd his head a lot , but eventually he just went along into it. I love the way it almost wraps gently around the head! I also ut in a lil request that I'd like it by my B day, and it came in a day Early!!! My horse that used to barrel race always mouthed the bit and did a lot of mouth opening. She too put her head down a minute when i first put it on and then went great in it! I promise this is not a scam, it really does work that great!! Oh only thing, the colors are a lil bit darker then they look in the picture, but still very very pretty :D!!

Thank you so much for a wonderful product. We ordered on and really liked it and ordered two more. I like the way it is made. My husband's horse fought the bit all of the time. This is soooo much better. We will be ordering more and I am surely recommending this to my friends.

I have a Clyde/QH cross named Tilly and when my husband wanted to buy her a fancy leather bridle we bought one of your bosals to use with it. She really does well with her new gear and doesn't toss her head and get distracted like she did with the bit. We also have a full Belgian mare, Waffle, that is very light and responds so much better with your bosal than anything else. We tried a rawhide bosal, but it was overkill with her! People think you have to have a strong bit and hand with a draft and you don't, just the right equipment. I will be ordering again soon so all my horses have your bosals to wear!
